Need a Laugh?

I found this funny.
Dilbert.com

Don’t be an idiot.

It’s Time You Know the Truth

It’s true.

No one likes getting those silly forwards . . . the funny ones, the ones that talk about miracles, the ones that tell you the “rest of the story,” the ones about politicians and especially the ones that say “if you love  ________, then forward this . . .”

No one likes them.  No one.

Yet you keep sending them.  Why?

I guess you think we need to know, but we don’t.  Most of the time they’re made up anyway.  Don’t believe me, check this website.

Listen . . . we like you, a lot actually.  It’s the only reason we haven’t fought about this before.

But we don’t like your forwards.  It’s time that you know the truth.

So please stop it.

Now.

Thank you.

If you know someone that should read this, forward it on to five friends or bad things will happen . . . very bad things.  :-)

Caption Please?

This is either a picture of the one best friends in the world or the meanest older brother.

Not sure at this point.  What do you think?

Calling Jack Bauer

JackSo, 24 is back and in full force.  I enjoy the show greatly, despite it’s ridiculous premise, complete lack of logic and reckless demand of its audience to suspend disbelief in gigantic proportions.  It’s fun.  And Jack Bauer is just awesome.

As I was watching the first four hours (episodes) this Sunday and Monday night, it occurred to me that I would love a launch team full of Jack (and Jackie) Bauers.  Here’s a list of some of the reasons why:

  • Jack is hard-working.  He often works for 24 hours straight without taking a break to eat, sleep, use the restroom, or anything else.  He works hard.
  • Jack is loyal.  The US Government has arrested, turned their back and even tried to kill him, yet he is still loyal to his country and does whatever he can to protect it.
  • Jack gets the job done no matter what it takes.  When Jack sets his mind to something, he does it.  If that requires breaking some laws, or jaws, he gets it done.
  • Jack is a man of his word.  Just like his loyalty, he keeps his word no matter what the costs.  If he says he will do something, he does it . . . even if it takes him all day.
  • Jack understands authority.  He knows and follows the chain of command.  If the president needs him to do something, he follows orders and doesn’t ask questions.  The dude can follow an order like a champ.
  • Jack is a problem-solver.  He’s never met a “secured-perimeter” he couldn’t pass, a code he couldn’t crack or a firewall he couldn’t navigate.  Often overcoming said obstacle within an hour only to encounter yet another obstacle, he never lets it get to him.  He just solves the next problem.
  • Jack enlists the help of others.  Let’s be honest, without Chloe, Tony Almeda, Edgar, and countless other, Jack couldn’t get the job done.
  • Jack moves very quickly and change on the fly.  Jack can get anywhere he wants in about 3 minutes.  That’s impressive.  If he’s at the wrong place?  He’s in the right place in 2 minutes.  I don’t now how he does it, but the man can move.
Jack Bauer would make a great Launch Team member here at Wellspring Church.  Any other traits about Jack that would make him a great team member?  Let me know.

No Words

There are no words to describe this video.  This might be the funniest thing I’ve seen in a LONG, long time. Make sure you watch until the end.

Enjoy.  Have a great weekend.
